Oklahoma Contemporary is looking for studio assistants for weeklong camps this upcoming summer break. Studio Assistants will gain experience in classroom management while supporting teaching artists in a studio environment. Studio assistants are compensated for their time and work an average of 35 hours per week. Our Camp Contemporary program provides exciting studio experience across artistic disciplines including painting, costume design, drawing, ceramics, animation, performance and robotics.
Applications will be accepted until March 20, 2020.
- Aid instructors as needed.
- Help oversee campers.
- Be attentive when traveling between spaces as a group.
- Encourage campers in their discoveries and creation of artwork.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Willing to learn and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in contemporary arts and culture.
- Experience with children is preferred, but not required.

About Camp Contemporary
Our weeklong, school-break camps provide fun and challenging studio experiences for 4- to 12-year-olds. From painting, drawing and sculpture to ceramics, performance, poetry, filmmaking, robotics and animation, experienced art educators will facilitate camps inspired by contemporary art and artists.
