In the newly created role of associate director of Studio School, Adrienne Lalli Hills leads strategic planning, administration, management and supervision of classes, workshops, programs and other initiatives at Studio School.
Prior to joining Oklahoma Contemporary, she held roles in museum learning and interpretation at museums across the region, including the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City. There, she worked with colleagues to produce award-winning interpretive content and experiences for visitors, and to reinstall collections of European and East Asian art. Committed to advancing the field of museum learning, Adrienne serves on the board of directors for the Museum Educator Roundtable, which publishes the peer-reviewed Journal of Museum Education. She has also held leadership positions with Museum Computer Network (MCN) and the Association for Art Museum Interpretation.
Adrienne received a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts from the University of Tulsa. A native Oklahoman, she is a citizen of Wyandotte Nation.
