In her role as development officer, Amanda Coughlin works to strengthen Oklahoma Contemporary’s major-gift fundraising program with a focus on event planning. Amanda cultivates relationships with donors and community leaders through sponsorship solicitation and collaborates with local vendors to execute memorable and exciting exhibition openings. Amanda also serves as liaison to The Garde, Oklahoma Contemporary’s young professionals group.
Amanda is an alumna of the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a B.A. in political science. Prior to joining Oklahoma Contemporary, Amanda spent a decade as an advocate and fundraiser for a variety of nonprofit causes and dozens of political campaigns, including races for city council, mayor, tribal council, Oklahoma House and Senate, U.S. House and Senate, and president.
Amanda is a proud aunt of the two cutest girls in the world, a dog mom to Fitzpatrick, Yukon, Mack and Dennis, and a cat mom to Bob and Floof. She also fosters homeless dogs for Country Roads Animal Rescue. Her 7-year-old self is thrilled with whom she has become.
