I’m Bella Burns, social media coordinator and writer for Oklahoma Contemporary. I manage our social channels, craft engaging content and capture moments from events, camps and exhibitions to showcase the art and resources we offer the community.
I’ve gained hands-on experience in content creation and social media strategy through internships with CycleBar and Rumble OKC, focusing on videography, photography and digital storytelling for the boutique fitness space. Later, as marketing manager for 88 Record Company, I created content to amplify artists’ voices across digital platforms. My goal is to continue to uplift and share stories honestly, creatively and authentically.
Originally from Dallas, I came to Oklahoma to pursue my education and play collegiate volleyball at the University of Central Oklahoma where I earned a degree in marketing and a minor in music business through their Academy of Contemporary Music program. Outside of my career in marketing, I continue to write and perform as a songwriter and vocalist. Music and artistic expression have always been a driving force in my life.
