
In his role as senior development officer, Bret Gaither works to support Oklahoma Contemporary’s fundraising efforts. His focus is on donor engagement, planned giving and the completion of the organization’s $30 million Capital Campaign.
Having worked across public, government and nonprofit sectors, Bret brings a wealth of experience in fund development, arts administration, community engagement and event production. He most recently served as the Arts, Culture and Special Events Manager for the city of Frisco, Texas, where he led funding, programming and operations for the Frisco Heritage Museum, the Frisco Discovery Center, other citywide special events and the Public Art program. Other previous experience includes roles with Urban Arts Partnership and NYC Pride and as a fund development and marketing consultant with clients ranging from international corporations to a variety of nonprofits nationwide.
Bret was born and raised in Sherman, Texas. Though he has lived and worked all over the United States, he has considered Oklahoma his home since attending the University of Oklahoma, where he majored in psychology and criminology. In his free time, you can find Bret attending events, volunteering for a variety of causes, traveling and staying on top of all things pop culture.
