As coordinator of communications and marketing, David Dean creates, writes and implements content for Oklahoma Contemporary's social media platforms and digital presence. Over his 20-year career, he has worked for The Vail Daily, The Dallas Morning News, The Huffington Post, Viacom, PBS, Factory Obscura and more. His words have been published in countless magazines, newspapers and digital platforms. He also founded the online publication Serial Optimist in 2010. He loves art, sports, kindness, laughing and above all, his beautiful son, August.
Originally from Stillwater, OK, David moved to Oklahoma City in 2020. A writer, creator and savvy social media storyteller, his everyday goal is to support our community and the artists and people that make it thrive.
