Nicole Armitage leads Oklahoma Contemporary’s Operations team, which includes event and venue rentals, facilities and database management, theater productions and retail and guest experience. She’s also the staff lead on Oklahoma Contemporary’s new building project.
As senior project manager in the Property Management Unit at the Department of Human Services, Nicole managed state-owned and -leased property in all 77 Oklahoma Counties. She worked for the State of Oklahoma for 17 years.
Nicole graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in interior design. As a fifth-generation Oklahoman, born and raised in Oklahoma City, Nicole’s roots run deep. She is passionate about spending time with her friends and family and Girl Scout Troop 584, and her hobbies include traveling with friends, having adventures in Oklahoma’s beautiful natural setting, tending to her flowerbeds and all things related to art.
