
Salvador Ontiveros joined Oklahoma Contemporary in June 2016 at a crucial juncture in the organization's growth. As the head of finance and IT, he offers strategic guidance and direction, utilizing his broad vision and leadership skills.
Salvador has extensive experience in leadership positions at nonprofit organizations and a background in for-profit business. He opened and operated a restaurant, Chava’s Fruit Waters Y Tacos, in 2012 and has operated an accounting consultancy since 2015.
Salvador demonstrates a commitment to community involvement and development as a member of the Leadership OKC LOYAL Class XIV and the Leadership OKC Signature Program Class 40. He serves as a committee member for the Fiestas de las Americas festival and has held leadership positions in various youth organizations. Salvador also co-manages fundraisers for nonprofits and initiates sponsorships for Head Start classrooms in Oklahoma City.
Salvador holds both a BA in business administration and an MBA from Oklahoma City University, where he was a recipient of the inaugural Clara Luper Scholarship.
He enjoys exploring the city with his wife, Jennifer, and coaching his three sons: Salvador III, Antonio and Ruben.
