Taylor Geldart

Coordinator of Public Programs and Performances

As house and box office coordinator, Taylor Geldart is responsible for the smooth planning and execution of the audience-focused aspects of public programs, performances and special events. He is a key member of the production team and works closely with the curator of public programs and performance and the technical and production manager.

Taylor joined Oklahoma Contemporary in 2018 as one of the original members of the Visitor Experience team — back when it consisted of exactly two people — and was an integral part of the team as it grew in preparation for the move to our new home. He previously worked at the Oklahoma City Zoo (favorite animal: sea lions), interacting with hundreds of guests on a daily basis while leading teams at the many high-traffic attractions.

A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree in film and media studies. He has worked on live broadcasts and independent films as a production assistant and script supervisor, which fostered a strong sense of cross-department collaboration. He’s also passionate about storytelling and spends his free time watching soap operas and writing original screenplays.
