Sensory-Friendly Hour
April 12 | 10-11 a.m. | Reserve free tickets here
Join us for our pilot program Sensory-Friendly Hour at Oklahoma Contemporary! Enjoy our on-view exhibitions with reduced crowds and sensory input, and visit our art studio for a make-and-take project. April's project is story stones. Using paint pens and stones, visitors of all ages will draw important moments in their life that tell a story. We hope these memory capturing stones will be cherished for years to come in your family.
Trained and friendly staff members will be on hand to assist with any needs and accommodations to make your experience as comfortable and educational as possible. Discover our new sensory-friendly packs, specially curated to enhance your visit. Take a look at the Pre-Visit Toolkit below so everyone in your group knows what to expect at the event! If you need a moment of tranquility, step into our Quiet Space.
Participants of all ages are welcome. We kindly request caregivers accompany and actively engage with children under the age of 14 during their entire visit, ensuring everyone can fully enjoy the experience together.
FREE registration is requested. Reserve a spot for April here. Program size is limited.
