Join us for our inaugural Sensory-Friendly Hour at Oklahoma Contemporary — before we open to the public! Explore the 1947 Partition of India and Pakistan in our current exhibition, HOME1947: Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, and visit our art studio to design your very own tiny treasures box using materials such as paint sticks, paper, glue, tissue paper and more.

Trained and friendly staff members will be on hand to assist with any needs and accommodations to make your experience as comfortable and educational as possible. Discover our new sensory-friendly packs, specially curated to enhance your visit. Immerse your imagination in social narrative, and if you need a moment of tranquility, step into our Quiet Space to help calm your thoughts.

Participants of all ages are welcome. We kindly request caregivers accompany and actively engage with children under the age of 14 during their entire visit, ensuring everyone can fully enjoy the experience together.

FREE registration is required. Program size is limited.
