Join us for a conversation and presentation about Oklahoma native plants with Lanc Gross, the parks and wellness programs manager for the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Lanc is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and the American Planning Association. He earned his Bachelor of Science in landscape architecture and horticulture from Oklahoma State University in 1985, followed by a master’s in regional and city planning from the University of Oklahoma in 1990.
Lanc manages the Parks Grant program at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation, where he also provides technical support to Parks Grant recipients. He has 26 years of experience in long-range and current planning, having worked with both the Planning Department and Development Services Department for Oklahoma City. Notable projects he contributed to include the Oklahoma City Trails Master Plan, the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan, and the Lake Hefner Recreation Master Plan. Additionally, Lanc has planning experience with the cities of Shawnee, OK; Las Vegas, NV; and Stillwater, OK.
