Oklahoma Contemporary and deadCenter are pushing the (materials and) boundaries of filmmaking with a free screening of Mad God directed by preeminent stop-motion animator Phil Tippett (Star Wars, Jurassic Park). We will also feature short films by local filmmaker and artist Nicole Emmons along with Picture Garden organizers Lauren Bumgarner and Ross DeFehr. Following the screening, there will be a discussion of the film and the techniques used to create them.
