Never picked up a brush? This is the class for you. Dabbled in watercolor? This is the class for you, too. This class provides a solid foundation and a supportive environment to grow and experiment with watercolors. Introduction to Ceramics.

Wheel Throwing 2 | David Stevens | Begins Sept. 30 | 6-9 p.m.
Required prerequisites: Wheel Throwing 1. Expand upon the skills and techniques gained in Wheel 1. Learn to throw larger and lidded vessels plus how to construct teapots. You’ll also learn to create and modify ribs and stamps for making personal marks. Read more and register here.

Painting: Abstract Techniques | Brandi Twilley | Begins Oct. 1 | 6-9 p.m.
Beginners welcome! Make painting fun again. Experiment with abstract techniques like color combinations, pouring, splattering, and adding 3-D objects to your canvas without the burden of realistic representation. Read more and register here.

Required prerequisites: Sewing Fundamentals, Sewing Fundamentals Expanded, Garment Construction. Learn to properly measure, tailor, alter, repair, and deconstruction clothing for pattern making. This is an advanced course. Read more and register here.

Prerequisite: Introduction to Ceramics.
Make big things out of clay. This handbuilding class focuses on large sculptural forms. You'll learn different construction techniques such as soft slab, coil, hard slab, extruded form and modular forms. Read more and register here.

Fuss-Free Quilting | Amber Layne | Begins Oct. 2 | 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Want a relaxed approach to quilting techniques? Learn machine quilt construction without getting your knickers in a wad. By the end of class, you will have made a small quilt that you can drape over your couch or the nearest baby and low-key brag, Yeah, I made that. Read more and register here.

Sewing Fundamentals Expanded | Amber Layne | Begins Oct. 2 | 6-9 p.m.
Required prerequisites: Sewing Fundamentals. Build on skills acquired in Sewing Fundamentals. Learn advanced sewing techniques such as darts, ruffles, pleats and other shaping techniques, curved sewing, top stitching, lining, creating and using buttonholes, and understanding and utilizing types of zippers and elastics. The world needs your stories— Yes, yours! — and we are going to help you write them and then put them in a zine! This fun and supportive class teaches you how to generate characters (base them on your mother), create a setting, (pick a planet) outline a story arc, (my mother the alien finally returns to Mars) and then turn your story into a zine! Learn to adapt your existing clothes into fun new fashion. Want clothes that are gender and size affirming? Want new stuff without spending tons of money or having to go to the mall?
