Sewing Fundamentals | Amber Layne | Begins July 8 | 6-9 p.m.
Are you new to sewing, haven’t sewn in a while, afraid of your machine, or want to build a stronger foundation in your sewing knowledge? This is the class for you. It’s also perfect if you want a refresher on the basics of machine sewing. Read more and register here.

Sewing Fundamentals Expanded | Amber Layne | Begins July 9 | 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Required prerequisites: Sewing Fundamentals. Build on skills acquired in Sewing Fundamentals. Learn advanced sewing techniques such as darts, ruffles, pleats and other shaping techniques, curved sewing, top stitching, lining, creating and using buttonholes, and understanding and utilizing types of zippers and elastics. We are not suggesting you give a bee a bath although if that’s what you’re into, we won’t judge. Ceramic bee baths are small flower-shaped vessels that stake into your garden and hold water for bees because bees need water and flowers need bees and you want a pretty garden and something fun to do, so come on over and make a bee bath with us. Slow Your Dog’s Roll: Make A Ceramic Slow Feeder Dog Bowl | Kat Myers | July 25, 6-9 p.m.

This 4-hour workshop explores the ins and outs of indigo blue! Learn all about this mysterious, magical dye. Use shibori techniques to fold, scrunch, and tie your fabric, creating fantastic patterns. Then dye your items using our pre-mixed indigo vats!
