Oklahoma Contemporary’s Studio School is offering a new certificate program that provides an opportunity for adult learners (18+) to deepen their technical knowledge of contemporary ceramics, test their technical proficiency, receive one-on-one attention and critiques, and complete 129-133 instructional hours in ceramics.
The certificate program aligns with the existing Studio School ceramics curriculum but offers participants the following differences.
Certificate enrollees will
• prove technical proficiency at each curricular level
• receive one-on-one critiques with their instructor
• receive end-of-term written evaluations
• receive early registration (one week before the general public)
Certificate Curriculum
- 6 required courses
- 1 elective course
- 1 ceramic workshop
Total hours: 129-133 depending on the electives and choice of workshop.

*Advanced ceramics may include, but is not limited to:
Atmospheric Clay, Clay Fires Everywhere: Raku, Barrel, Salt, Pickle Pots, Yes Chef, Technical Clay, Guided Throwing, Altered Forms.

Elective, $425-$465 depending on the course
Workshop, $115-$145 depending on workshop
