Join artist Marissa Childers, recently named a 2022 emerging artist by Ceramics Monthly, and learn how to translate 2-D shapes into 3-D ceramic forms. Working with existing templates, you’ll craft teapots, cups and bowls. You’ll also learn how to create your own templates to produce unique objects. This class is perfect for beginners and also experienced ceramicists who want to learn a new way of building.
Open Studio time is included with registration. Open Studio allows currently enrolled students to work on their projects in Oklahoma Contemporary’s studios outside of class meetings. Availability varies weekly, and times are posted outside each studio.
