Class

Four-Week Class | Fundamentals of Experimental Sound

Explore the basics of noise and experimental music theory, creation, production and performance through hands-on sound recording and processing. An overview of the history of noise, experimental composition, sound art, and outsider electronics will fuel your discussion of contemporary sound and noise performance, recording and production practice. Students will record and edit their own sound creations using Audacity audio software. The class will culminate with presentations of student work and a collaborative group sound performance. The deadline to register is Sunday, Jun. 27 at 11:59 p.m.
