REQUIRED Skills: cast on, knit, purl
Registration closes September 22!
This class is for people with basic knitting experience. If you can knit, purl, and cast on, you can make a sweater.
Tried to knit a sweater but ended up with one sane sleeve and one elephant- trunk sleeve? This class is for you. Has your fear of joining a sleeve to a body limited you to only knitting scarves, but deep down you know there’s more to life than yarny rectangles? Do you want to knit a sweater for your cat or are you a cat who wants to knit a sweater for your human? Perhaps using your own fur? Well, if you can cast on, knit and purl this is the class for you. I said purl, not purr.
Knitting superstar Kendall Ross (I’d Knit That) will teach you how to choose a pattern, design your garment, seam, block, construct and finish so that your sweater looks and fits the way you want. Sweater weather is coming, and we want all you kittens to be warm.

If one class is postponed due to weather or unforeseen instructor circumstances, the rain date is November 20.
Open Studio time is included with registration. Open Studio allows currently enrolled students to work on their projects in Oklahoma Contemporary’s studios outside of class meetings. Availability varies weekly and times are posted outside each studio.
