As you explore the Ed Ruscha: OKLA exhibition, you might notice that the artist’s Oklahoma upbringing is expressed in part through references to midcentury Oklahoma vernacular. In this workshop, you’ll learn to document the spoken language of your own surroundings through interviews. Basic interviewing principles and recording techniques will be covered. This workshop is ideal for artists, budding historians or writers seeking new methodologies to support their practice. Registration closes Sunday, Feb. 21 at 11:59 p.m.
