Workshop | Indigo Dye Shibori Workshop (August 18)

Learn all about this mysterious, magical dye. Use shibori techniques to fold, scrunch, and tie your fabric, creating fantastic patterns. Then dye your items using our pre-mixed indigo vats!

What is indigo? Indigo is a natural, plant-based dye that creates iconic blues. Indigo has been used for thousands of years to dye everything from Tutankamen’s handkerchief to Levi’s blue jeans.

What is shibori? Shibori is a traditional Japanese dye technique that creates intricate patterns. Fabric is folded and bound before it is dyed. This creates resist-areas, where there is no dye, and dyed areas.

If the workshop is postponed due to weather or unforeseen instructor circumstances, the rain date is September 8.

Workshop refund policy.
