As coordinator of Studio School, Emily assists in planning courses and acts as a liaison between instructors, students, renters and senior staff.
Emily has a Bachelor of Arts in International and Area Studies from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Arts in Sustainable International Development and a Master of Science in Global Health Policy and Management from Brandeis University. Focusing on the international showed Emily the importance of serving and being a part of your own community.
She has been taking ceramic courses at Studio School since spring 2021. Creating in community is her favorite aspect of making art at Studio School. Her pieces aren’t finished until someone looks at them and says, “That’s gross, I hate it.”
