Retail Coordinator Iman Knox oversees and tracks inventory, sales, visual representation and the overall success of Shop Contemporary. She works directly with the buyer and visitor experience manager to ensure products are being selected for Oklahoma Contemporary’s target audience and that visitors and guests receive the utmost care and radical hospitality.
Prior to her current role, Iman worked in several lead and assistant lead roles in retail stores including Forever21, Vans and Lucca Fashion Boutique, where she honed pertinent customer service, visual merchandising and marketing management skills that she continues to utilize as retail coordinator.
Iman attained her Associate’s in business marketing and management in 2019 and continued her education at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, Ga., where she was able to gain in-depth knowledge of marketing and design in the fashion industry. Inspired by the street where she grew up in Detroit, Iman recently established her own online clothing business, House of Northbrook, where she utilizes various design techniques to repurpose clothing and accessories. She is continuously inspired by Oklahoma Contemporary’s ever-changing exhibitions, and feels they allow her to grow as an artist and designer.
