In its 21st year, Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center’s invitational exhibition began new era. The annual celebration and art sale, formerly known as Cafe City Arts, is Oklahoma Contemporary Art Center’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from the fundraiser enable year-round visual arts exhibitions in the Eleanor Kirkpatrick Gallery to remain free of charge to the public. Artists participating in the exhibition donate 50 percent of their art sales to benefit Oklahoma Contemporary.

Beginning in 2012, Oklahoma Contemporary began featuring a guest curator, Oklahoma City artist and independent curator, Romy Owens. She selected 25 Oklahoma artists from across the state and in a variety of mediums to participate in this exciting exhibition. Painting, photography, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, video and installation were represented.
