This isn't your typical wine-and-paint workshop! Join Studio School for an evening of grown-up fun. No art skills needed, but you can flex those social muscles as you pick up a new art-making skill. 21+ only, please. All supplies are included!

Workshop Refund Policy
A full refund (100%) is issued only if a refund request is made at least 10 business days prior to the workshop. Requests must be made via email to studioschool@okcontemp.org No refund (0%) will be issued if a refund request is made within 10 business days prior to the workshop. No refunds will be issued if participants can't attend the rain date. Those ineligible for a refund may request an acknowledgment of a tax-deductible contribution in the amount of the unused tuition.

When signing up for a workshop, all students agree to abide by the policies set forth in the Student Handbook.

If you misspell bee as bea while Googling, you’re likely to get results for Bea Arthur, she of Golden Girl greatness. Did you know that Bea Arthur joined the Marines during WWII –just five days after the Marines started accepting women? She served for two years and was a truck driver for part of that time. Semper Fi, you Golden Girl.

I don’t know if Bea Arthur liked bees but I’m guessing she’d want you to hang out with your friends and have fun so come make a bee bath to help thirsty bees so they can pollinate your flowers and make you look good, you golden girl.

We will call you when your work is fired and ready to be picked up. This usually takes about 2 weeks.

The design of a slow feeder dog bowls helps your pup eat slower and build healthier habits. The bowl holds wet food or kibble. Once your dog learns how to slow down during meal times maybe they will teach you how to eat slower because Studio School wants neither person nor pup to inhale their food too fast and bloat.

We will call you when your work is fired and ready to be picked up. This usually takes about 2 weeks.

Back by popular demand! Re-enact your favorite pottery scenes from the movie Ghost without the inconvenience of your significant other getting murdered. We can’t promise helpful advice from a psychic, but we do think you and your companion will have a great time learning to use the potter’s wheel and making a small bowl.

Bring a date, bring a friend, bring anyone you want as long as your partner is actually alive.

The purchase price is for TWO spots. So couples only need to buy one ticket.

No experience necessary! Registration is limited to four couples. Pick up your fired and finished bowl about two weeks after the workshop. We’ll call you when it’s ready.

Make and decorate a pair of ceramic earrings and a ceramic pendant! It’s hard to feel cute during summer’s fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk-and sweat-while-sitting-still weather, so come over, sit in our air-conditioning and make jewelry that will make you feel and look good. No ceramic or jewelry experience necessary!

We will call you when your pieces are ready to be picked up—in about 3-4 weeks because we want to make sure your jewelry looks great.

Learn all about this mysterious, magical dye. Use shibori techniques to fold, scrunch, and tie your fabric, creating fantastic patterns. Then dye your items using our pre-mixed indigo vats!

What is indigo? Indigo is a natural, plant-based dye that creates iconic blues. Indigo has been used for thousands of years to dye everything from Tutankamen’s handkerchief to Levi’s blue jeans.

What is shibori? Shibori is a traditional Japanese dye technique that creates intricate patterns. Fabric is folded and bound before it is dyed. This creates resist-areas, where there is no dye, and dyed areas.

The world recorder holder for the most triceps dips in a minute (119!) is a man named Stephen who lives in the U.K. We don’t care how many triceps are capable of we just want you craft a ceramic home for your sauce.
