Awards, honors and nominations
The opening of Oklahoma Contemporary’s new facilities generated great buzz and a ton of awards for our architectural firm, Rand Elliott Associates, and for our organization as a whole. Awards from 2020 and beyond listed alphabetically below, including being named one of USA Today’s Best New Museums, nominated for an LCD New Cultural Destination and Architecture Masterprize, hitting a ton of “best of” lists for 2020-21 and winning a Creative Placemaking Award from Paseo Arts Association.
