Instructor: Martha Coates
Delight in the original methods of textile construction in this fun and relaxing course. Learn basic stitches for construction, gathering, and making closures. Unearth some rare historical stitches and make a simple garment or object all by hand!

No experience necessary although it's helpful if you have hands but if you don't, Martha is so fantastic that she could probably teach you to sew with your feet.

If one class is postponed due to weather or unforeseen instructor circumstances, the rain date is June 6. 

Open Studio time is included with registration. Open Studio allows currently enrolled students to work on their projects in Oklahoma Contemporary’s studios outside of class meetings. Availability varies weekly, and times are posted outside each studio.
