You’re invited to a calm, welcoming and inclusive experience during Sensory Friendly Hour at Oklahoma Contemporary!

During this special hour, the art center will be closed to the public to help create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Explore our galleries at your own pace in a low-lit, quiet environment designed for visitors who thrive in gentler sensory spaces. Get creative in our hands-on art studio, where friendly and trained teaching artists will guide you through a fun make-and-take art project.

Our trained staff will be available throughout your visit to assist with any needs or accommodations, making sure your experience is both comfortable and memorable. Be sure to check out our Sensory Friendly Kits, specially designed to help enhance your time with us. If a member of your group needs a moment to rest or reset during your visit, feel free to use our designated Quiet Space at any time.

Participants of all ages are welcome! We kindly ask that caregivers accompany and actively engage with children under 14 throughout their visit to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all.
