OK Collects: The Art of Collecting Art

Oklahoma Contemporary presented OK Collects, highlighting works by contemporary art collectors in Oklahoma. As the exhibition explored how each collection reflects the personal stories and interests of the collectors, visitors had the exclusive opportunity to see artwork usually not available to the public. Featured works included a wide range of media, from paintings and sculpture to ceramics, fiber and glass.

The exhibition closed with a panel discussion that featured three of the exhibition’s collectors on their collections, how they got started and tips for aspiring collectors, followed by an audience Q&A. Afterward, visitors had the chance to mingle and chat with the collectors.
