Your adventure:

Nerikomi Patterns

It’s a Thursday evening, the air has a slight chill and the sun is sinking, ushering in the shining moon peaking between the clouds. You’ve just parked and made your way into The Studios. Warm hues and exposed brick greet you, transporting you into a space that doesn’t quite feel like Oklahoma. All your worries are left at the door. You head into the Hand Building Studio; eager students and a variety of intriguing tools welcome you in. Grabbing a seat next to a fellow classmate, you are immediately surrounded by a buddy community of soon-to-be marbling ceramists. A friendly face with kind eyes and an embracing energy arrives, introducing themselves as instructor Isa Rodriguez, your Nerikomi Patterns expert for the next eight weeks. Class has begun. The next two-and-a-half hours are just for you.

A person is dressed in a renaissance-style black dress that laces up the bodice, square neck and long sleeves with cutouts around the shoulders. A white frilly high-neck top is underneath. They stand against a soft blue background.
