Second Saturday

In conjunction with our exhibitions, we offer studio projects on the second Saturday of each month. Second Saturday is free, family-friendly and includes hands-on art making and gallery activities for visitors of all ages. Registration is not required and visitors can tailor their experience based on their schedule and the activities that interest them the most.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Who Inspires You?
The Oklahoma City Thunder and Thunder Cares welcome you to Oklahoma Contemporary to participate in the Black Heritage Creative Contest. Students grades K-12 are invited to make an original creative piece that features an individual/s in black history or personal life that inspires them. Entries in a variety of art forms are welcome including: drawing, painting, essay, photography, sculpture, poetry, collage, animation, illustration or other artistic form. Free art supplies will be available for participants. Artists, art educators and skilled poets will be onsite to support students with the creative process.

Five Winners Will Receive
